Advanced Mechanical Engineer w/Active DoD Secret Clearance

$60.00-$98 per hour (DOE)

US Citizenship and an Active DoD clearance is required at the time of hire

• ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  
  As a mechanical engineer for Intelligence Systems, you'll be a mechanical design engineer on a cross functional team responsible for creating innovative hardware solutions for demanding environments.

  We encourage you to if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: proficiency in mechanical CAD (especially CREO), detailed mechanical design and drawings/documentation, mechanical analysis (structural and thermal).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leading complex projects.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master's Degree.
• proficiency in mechanical CAD (especially CREO), detailed mechanical design and drawings/documentation, mechanical analysis (structural and thermal).
• Good proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards.
• Collaborative, creative thinker.
• Good communication skills with the ability to write technical papers and proposals.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• Active Secret DoD Clearance.
