As an  Activities Director at  Emerald Crest of Burnsville , you will manage a small team of activities professionals, plan and conduct fun and exciting activities for our residents. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being, and has a creative personality and positive attitude.

Position Type: Full-Time working a varying schedule including weekends

Wage Range: $25 - $28 /hour depending on experience

Location: 451 E Travelers Trail, Burnsville, Minnesota 55337
. Activities Director Responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of activities professionals.
• Ensure meaningful activities are scheduled and executed seven days a week.
• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities.
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Activities Director Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience working in a senior living or recreation therapy setting required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 
• Artistic and musical skills are a plus.
• Desire to work with the older adults in an assisted living setting
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.
• Engaging, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and overflowing with creativity to share in planning new activities
